How do I get started?

First and foremost, you must determine the purpose of your video. After doing so, use the following check list to help create your Video Slideshow:

Who or what event are you spotlighting?
What emotion/s are you trying capture?
How long do you think your video needs to be to get your message across? One, two, three songs?
Do you want your slideshow to have a title page? If so, what would you like to call your slideshow?
Would you like your slideshow to have captions on certain pictures?
Do you have a specific song/songs in mind for your video? If so, does the song you’ve chosen compliment the theme of the video?
How many photos do you want in your video production? Is there a certain order you would like these photos in?
**Remember, when choosing a photo, make sure your subject is close up.**

These are decisions you will need to make in order to make sure your video slideshow a complete success. Please keep in mind that you are not alone in the decision making process! Besides my pictures, what will my video slideshow include?

Each video slideshow will have a title page, a credits page and captions (the amount of title pages and captions depends on the package you choose; however, more captions can be added for an additional fee). Each video also uses photo transitions to give your video maximum impact. 

Will I be able to preview my video before the final product is made?

Absolutely!  We want to make sure you are satisfied with the final product!  Once your production has been completed, we will send you a private weblink that contains your video.  From there, you will be able to view your video and suggest any changes you want made (if any).  Once the changes have been completed, we will process the final copy of your video.

How will my DVD look like when I receive it? 

Depending on the package you choose, your DVD will either be received in a CD envelope or a DVD case; however your disc will be printed with the title of your project.  If you have chosen the Gold or Silver Package, the DVD case will also be personalized with a picture you have provided as well as the title.

How long does each picture appear on the screen?

Each picture is on screen between five and seven seconds. The average song is between three to four minutes, this means that you will need to provide a minimum of 36 photos per song.

What if I don’t have my pictures on disc?

No problem! We can scan your chosen photos for a small fee.   Simply mail the hard copy photos to us to the address listed on our contact us page.   Not to worry, your photos will be handled with care. You will receive these photos back in it's original condition when your Video Slideshow is completed.

**Please note that professional photos cannot be scanned unless your order form is accompanied by a release from the photographer. 

I'm having trouble choosing a song for my slideshow.  What do I do?

Choosing the right song for your slideshow is a very big aspect in making your slideshow a success.   If you are having trouble picking a song, let us help you!  Click here for some song suggestions!  If you don't see anything you like, contact us and we'll help you with the decision!

I’ve chosen the photos I wish to use for my video. Now what?

If you have the capability of saving your photos on disc, simply save your photos on a CD in chronological order (the order in which you wish the video to flow).    If you do not have your pictures on a digital source and require our scanning services, send the hard copy photos to us via mail (see contact us page for our address) with the chronological number written on the back of the photo (please use pencil). Once your project has been completed, we will return your photos in the condition it was received.  If you do not have a preference in what order the pictures are displayed, please specify this during the ordering process and we’ll take care of the rest.

I want more than one song on my video and I have specific pictures for each song. What do I do?

When sending your photos, separate them by song. For example, if you are saving your photos to disc, save your first set of pictures in a folder named after the song title. Do the same for all additional songs you will have in your video. If you are sending hard copy photos, separate your photos in an envelope or zip lock baggie (please do not use paper clips) and write the name of the song you wish to use for those photos on the front of the envelope. 

How do I use captions?

Since your video montage is customized to your liking, you can choose which photo you would like to have a caption. The amount of captions depends on the package you have chosen; however, more captions can be added for an additional cost per caption. When submitting your order, make sure you specify during the ordering process which photo should have the caption and what the caption should say.

I would like to debut my Video Slideshow Production to entertain guests at an event I am having soon.  Can you offer suggestions on equipment set up?

We can do better than that!  We will provide you with a list of contacts in your area that offer projection equipment services so you can debut your video to your large crowd of guests!  We know you're excited about sharing your video - we want to make it happen for you!

What happens after I submit my quote request?

You will receive a call within 24 hours to schedule a formal Suggestion Session.  During this Suggestion Session, we will discuss the flow of your video, captions, title pages, templates, and any other preferences you may have.  The Suggestion Session is not an obligation to purchase a Video Slideshow Production.  It is simply a courtesy quote. If you choose to pursue production of your video, we will send you an invoice containing all the details of your order.  Please note, a 50% non-refundable deposit is due before production of your video will begin. 

What form of payment do you accept?

Video Slideshow Productions accepts personal checks, money orders, or cashiers checks.  We also accept payment through PayPal.  Please do not send cash.

How long does it take to receive my video once I have placed my order?

You will receive your video within 2 weeks of the date that your order has been placed as long as full payment has been received.  Rush orders can be accommodated for an extra fee and will take 5 business days for your Video Slideshow to be completed.  For more details, please click on Packages.

How will my order come packaged?

We want to make sure you receive your DVD in pristine condition.  That is why we take extra lengths in protecting your package.  Your DVD will come in a protective bubble insulated envelope.  Take a look at what type of condition your DVD should look like once received should you choose the DVD customized case upgrade.

How long do you keep videos on file?

We understand that videos get lost or broken or you may change your mind and want duplicate copies for yourself, friends or family.  We archive videos for one year after service in case you may need extra copies.
